The Cariño (kah-REE-nyoh) Program. Seeks to support people who care for older adults or family members with disabilities. We’ve heard stories about how incredibly difficult it is to navigate the healthcare system—even for patients with Medicare or Medicaid—and how people with chronic illnesses are pushed out of the healthcare system. Accessing preventive care is even more difficult for those who don’t speak English or lack transportation, and we aim to help them by referring or connecting them with social workers and case managers. The Cariño program will launch in early 2027.
