Our Logo

In our logo, we fully embrace the values and practices passed down by our ancestors, committing to honor those teachings with humility. The colors we chose are a reminder of our Pachamama—our connection to the land—the warm light gifted by Grandfather Sun that warms us and gives us the gift of life. We have respectfully incorporated the shape of the Q'anil, the Mayan symbol for seeds, as a reminder of our commitment to support seed keepers; and a reflection that, just like the corn, we all come in different shapes and colors. It’s also a reminder to honor all four directions. And finally, our name highlights the word "UNITY" within "COMMUNITY" as a constant reminder to build together and not against each other.
